Loosen locknut on blade adjustment screw and
unlock safety latch, freeing handles. |

step 2 |
Hold handles together in hand and tighten
adjustment screw by turning head of screw clockwise with other hand.
Tighten adjustment screw just enough to hold handles in this position. |

step 3 |
Tighten locknut on adjustment screw. |

step 4 |
Holding locknut in place, turn adjustment
screw head counter clockwise just enough to allow handles to spring open. |
