The new Tomcat 150mm Nylon Wheel Brush is ideal for use on plastics and wood, removing rust and light burrs from steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Abrasive nylon also delivers a softer brushing effect compared to wire brushes, making it great for achieving a rustic effect when brushing on soft timbers.
The 180 abrasive grit is impregnated within the length of the nylon filament. The filaments then act like flexible files – deburring, cleaning and edge blending as they wipe. As the nylon wears, new abrasive grit is constantly exposed to your work piece. Please note: before using a new nylon brush, run the brush against a rough surface for about 10 seconds – this will expose the grit ready for your project.
